Brain Scans and the “Evil Patch”

Dr. Gerhard Roth, a German neurogist and professor, claims that he has discovered an “evil patch” in the brain scans of people with criminal records.  The so-called “evil patch” manifests as a dark mass near the front of the brain and may indicate psychopathy.  Although Dr. Roth’s research is not absolute and the potential for a diagnosis of psychopathy based on brain scans is controversial, the discovery certainly adds to a growing body of research in the area.
